South Florida: Sunny Skies, Shady People – Here Are 7 More

by Florida's #1 Mortgage Planner on February 12, 2008

There are plenty of reports of mortgage fraud and other "shady" dealings down here in South Florida, so is it any wonder we have a large foreclosure rate?

Well, here are 7 individuals who just pleaded guilty for mortgage fraud, conspiracy, money laundering, and bank fraud.  I am guessing we won’t have to worry about them for a while.  The area they targeted was Southwest Ranches, an upscale neighborhood with multi-million dollar estates and actual ranches.

Pleading "guilty" were:

Maykel Clavero-Gonzalez, 30 (Miami)
Ruben Jimenez, 40 (Miami)
Joaquin M. Perea, 63 (Miami)
Antonio Ramos, 26 (Miami)
Luc Bruna, 53 (Fort Lauderdale)
Michele Volcy, 47 (Fort Lauderdale)
Iliana Lima, 36 (Port St. Lucie)

Lookie lookie… Yet more Eskimos proving themselves and their culture to be sleazy, criminal and sociopathic.
This really makes Eskimos look bad. How come good Eskimos aren’t saying anything about these scumbags?
